All the VI Chief Ministers & Premiers ranked by Attractiveness
Lately there’s been a lot of discourse around the competency of our legislators. With the Honourable Natalio Wheatley’s unexpected rise to the most senior position in the Government, the spotlight has been on him to prove his capability as a leader. Intelligence, diplomacy, and even charisma are often expected when someone purports themselves to be a worthy Premier. However, the editors at Mek-Sense would argue that the most important quality of all is often left out of the discussion—hotness.
That’s right, in this article, we will be addressing the real matter at hand. Just who was the best looking Premier?
7. Willard Wheatley
Coming in at number seven is the beloved Willard Wheatley. He’s an average looking man, with his hairline causing him to lose quite a bit of points. While he does have a kind expression in most pictures, he’s definitely lacking in charisma and swagger compared to the other leaders of the VI.
6. Andrew Fahie
We know what you’re thinking. No, it’s not because he’s fat. For the purpose of this article both Skinny and Fat Alturo were assessed. While Andrew Fahie is definitely charismatic—that's about it. The former Premier has no above average style or features to consider him as overtly attractive.
5. Ralph O’Neal
Number 5 goes to the late Ralph O’Neal. Ralph had the swag and a smile that would light up the room. We’re sure he had ample attention from women to boost his ego back in his day.
While his round face didn’t do him much justice as he aged, his style definitely remained intact through the ages.
4. Orlando Smith
There’s no denying Orlando Smith is an attractive man, and while we applaud his good genes, we do note that he’s not the most suave Premier we’ve had.
He has a more nerdy, awkward aesthetic—but it works. If Orlando had just a tad more style, it would be over for everyone else.
3. Natalio Wheatley
Like those who’ve come before him, the new Premier has had his fair share of scandal. For this Premier in particular, one would assume his looks played a role in his scandals.
While he’s not drop dead gorgeous, he has a charisma about him that gave him enough hotness points to enrapture himself in an affair worth 80k.
2. Cyril Romney
Cyril Romney is a classic case of the marriage between good genes and good style. A pretty boy, with the brains to lead purposefully.
He had all the girls back then, and even today, a look back at his old photos are just as appealing.
1. Hamilton Lavity Stoutt
You didn’t think we forgot the great H. Lavity Stoutt, did you? While most of us are used to seeing pictures of the late great Stoutt in his older years, a look back at his young photos will showcase his handsome bone structure, full lips and good sense of style. H.L. Stoutt is often regarded as the father of the contemporary Virgin Islands, the first Chief Minister and a pioneer in Government and Education. However, we often forget that on top of all of that—he looked great while doing it too.
